ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT – Employed in the realization and assembling of:

• Low Voltage Main Power Center.
• AC/DC Distribution panelboards.
• Mimic control panel and automation panel for urban and railway electric traction.
• D.C. Switchboards (metal clad type and internally arc proof version) for Traction Power Substation for urban and railway electric traction.

INSTALLATIONS DEPARTMENT – Employed in the installation of:

• Low Voltage Main Power Center.
• AC/DC Distribution panelboards.
• Mimic control panel and automation panel for urban and railway electric traction.
• D.C. Switchboards for Traction Power Substation for urban and railway electric traction.

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT – For the development of projects in accordance with:

• National and international standards.
• Technical specification of customer.

Engineering area is composed of highly qualified and constantly supported resources from external training courses for continuous and constant updating on the evolution of standards and product design techniques.

The engineering department is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software in the field of:
• mechanical simulation
• electrical simulation
• dimensioning of electrical systems
• drawing of electrical functional schemas

QUALITY – ENVIROMENT AND SAFETY SYSTEM DEPARTMENT

For the implementation and maintenance of a Quality, Environment and Safety System able to follow the product throughout its production cycle, with particular attention to compliance with environmental and safety requirements, in order to ensure continuous improvement and increase the Customer Satisfaction.

TESTING DEPARTMENT – Employed in the execution of testing of:

• Low Voltage Main Power Center and AC/DC Distribution panelboards.
• Mimic control panel and automation panel for urban and railway electric traction.
• D.C. Switchboards (metal clad type and internally arc proof version) for Traction Power Substation for urban and railway electric traction.

Tests and verifications are carried out by MILE in full compliance with national and international standards and customer specifications.

TEST & COMMISSIONING DEPARTMENT – Employed in the performance of electrical testing for the commissioning of Traction Power Substation for urban and railway electric traction as follows:

• Control of electrical protections by means of secondary injections with verification and detection of the intervention thresholds by Relay Test Equipment.
• Protection configurations.
• Preliminary plant tests before activation.
• Systematic plant checks and inspections.
• Assistance during the start-up and commissioning of the plants.
• Functional tests of plant’s equipment (High Voltage and Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers and Disconnectors).
